Barrio Queen is expanding to Desert Ridge

According to abc15.com and azcentral.com, The Barrio Queen is expanding to Desert Ridge Marketplace.

The Barrio Queen plans to open its third restaurant this coming summer. The new addition features a private tequila tasting room, an outdoor lounge, Mexican art, and an open kitchen. The Barrio Queen in Phoenix will have room for 275 seatings within indoor/outdoor dining area decorated with artwork from various Arizonan and Mexican artists.

You can find the two other Barrio Queen locations at Scottsdale off of 7114 Stetson Dr. STE 105 and Gilbert off of 388 N. Gilbert Rd.

Like the two locations before it, the new Queen will serve a variety of tequilas and mezcals.
“Our food helps people fall in love with the Hispanic culture,” owner Steve Rosenfield said in a written statement. “And our atmosphere makes it easy to imagine you’re eating a meal at your grandmother’s home in Mexico. Our food is our passion.”

The Barrio Queen plans to open three additional restaurants by next year.
